Naves is a commune in the Corrèze department in the Limousin region in central France. Naves’s territory is crossed by the Corrèze, Solane, Vigne, Vimbelle, and Céronne rivers. Situated on the crossroad of two importants roman ways, Naves of Latin Navea (fertile valley), was etablished in Gallo-Roman period, in this time the village included temples, theater and many others monuments. The commune is the lowest level of administrative division in the French Republic.
